Zoo. Now one of the largest in the country, the 'Big Cat
Forest', the 'Bird Aviary' and the 'Wetland Experience'
offer state of the art enclosures and are designed with

world of the sea shore. Interactive exhibits, a walk through
a rock pool and a programme of regular rockpool rambles.

Green is the venue for outdoor events and entertainment,
with carnivals, funfairs, fireworks, shows, music and
festivals all year round, including the Annual Children's
Festival and Radio One Show. It is also the
setting for countless games of cricket and football, frisbee

Harbour The
"Jewel in the Crown" of Paignton is located
at the southern end of Paignton Green and sands. It is
a local community area with cafes, restaurants, shops,
post office and of course the local pub. The quaint harbour
is a peaceful place to sit and relax. Have a chat and
take in the boating activities. See the fishing boats
landing or if you fancy being a little more adventurous,
try some D.I.Y. boating - hire your own boat. Pick up
a ferry trip across the bay or a cruise to the river Dart.
