FISHING
 With
many private charter boats in the harbour at Paignton, Torquay and
Brixham, trips can be arranged for the fishing enthusiast. Simple 2½ to
3 hours trips - mackerel fishing in the summer months - provides fun for
all ages. Economical, around £5 to £6 for adults. If you have not
tried this before, great fun can be had jiggling the feathered hooks
through the water. Large shoals can often see anglers hauling in 6 to 8
fish at a time. Definitely a fun trip, no worms to handle for the
squeamish. All tackle is supplied and instruction given if this is your
first experience.
WRECK FISHING
 For
the more dedicated, 6, 8 or 12 hour trips can be arranged, searching
deeper waters. Sonar equipped vessels with fish finding sounders can
take you on a journey in search of larger prey - tackle and bait
supplied. Subject to weather conditions. Prices per angler start from
around £12 per person dependant on length of trip. Groups and parties
catered for. Individuals may be allowed to join a small group charter.
