The
Cherwood Hotel
The hotel
is situated in the centre of the Paignton seafront
area, just 50 yards from the beach and Paignton Pier,
with the distinct advantages of a peaceful location,
yet all major attractions and amenities are close at
hand. This is the most frequented area for holiday enjoyment
where Paignton comes alive and visitors will spend much
of their time.
A few yards
stroll from the hotel, the seafront area abounds with
the choice of multi screen cinema, entertainment and
cabaret, restaurants, clubs, pubs, bowls, harbour, water
sports, sailing, jet skis, amusements and pastimes for
all ages. Victoria Park borders to the left of the hotel
and the town centre, with its large range of shops and
stores, is a 3 to 4 minute walk. |

Close at
hand is Torquay (a 5 min journey) and Brixham (10 min),
a quaint fishing village with its cobbled side streets
and curio shops. Open top buses, road trains, even a
ferry trip around the headland from Paignton to Brixham
can be taken as methods to explore.
Positioned
in the town centre, and opposite each other, are the
bus and railway stations - the hotel is convenient for
both. Off road car parking is provided for all guests
arriving by car. Park and forget. With everything so
easily accessible, driving is reserved for trips to
explore.
Excursions
and coach trips to surrounding regions, Devon's famed
Dartmouth to Kingswear ex-GWR steam railway, through
the glorious countryside, choice is endless for your
